A nice block of timber with plenty of topography that could help in predicting deer movement. There are deer trails everywhere in the timber and they are using the subtle changes in topography to travel throughout the timber. It is evident that several deer are calling this place home with all the fresh sign around.
The small thicket and woods on the northeast corner of the property had a lot of fresh sign. Lots of deer tracks leading back and forth between the two tracts of timber. There is a nice contrast between thick bedding are and open hardwoods.
There are several spots around the edge of the timber that would make good food plots with a little work. The landowner is receptive to food plots. The location and size would need to be approved before any work is done.
