Two separate properties at the mouth of the Iowa River just below the Mississippi River. One of which is part of an island. This is privately owned and has not been legally hunted. We all hear and know about “river bottom” hunting, but this is hard to beat.
For those of you that love heavy timber and those river bottom deer this property meets your needs. A stones throw to the Odessa Wildlife Area and near Port Louisa NWR/Horseshoe Bend. Both areas total over 6000 acres.
Fishing needless to say is very good. Add in possible waterfowl hunting. Access to property is by dirt road or river access. As with any river property nature rules, therefore water levels and possible flooding enter the mix.
State has numerous boat ramps in region, although one must check those rules and regs.
** We are an aggregator of lease listings and are not the lessors of the properties
