This tract will hunt bigger because it is all timber. A really good mix of hardwood and mature pines. It has been my experience that whitetails love the edges of where these mature pines and the hardwoods connect. This is evident on this tract by the amount of sign on the edge and criss-crossing this tract. As you can see by the aerial, there are thousands of acres of timber in this area. This should prove good for the patient hunter that wants to wait on that magic time when the bucks are cruising. I would think that new bucks would show up all the time.
Martin County, Indiana is becoming know as a go to spot in the state of big bucks. Not to mention the good turkey population. A Spring Gobbler would be icing on the cake.
Historic French Lick/West Baden are just 15 minutes away. This is a great resort area with championship golf courses, casinos, hotels, restaurants, etc...
This lease is for the exclusive hunting rights for all legal game. It is a one-year term unless the auction ends between 9/1 and 12/31. In that case the lease will end on 7/1.
ATV's can be used for hunting related purposes only. No trail riding.
